CRYSTAL BUSINESS AND UNPACKING

Dear Crystal lovers,

Today I have a very exciting video for you! I’m unpacking four large calcites / aragonites that I got from a rockhound that I’ve known for a couple of years and this is a guy that I really trust in terms of quality.

I haven’t bought crystals this way before because I prefer to see and feel every piece beforehand - so this is completely new to me. The restrictions have made it quite difficult to source good quality crystals but luckily I had a few really good connections already, and this is from one of them. Nonetheless I was a little bit nervous about this but also very very excited.

Back in the days I would go to trade shows where there are hundreds of wholesale retailers, collectors and rock hounds to buy from. At the big events you can literally find anything that your heart desires and it was actually quite amazing. You get to talk to the venders and get information on where the crystals were found and by whom. These days it is way more challenging since I can’t travel and quality check everything before I buy it.
